My story begins in Bulgaria. Growing up in a different cultural landscape instilled in me a diverse perspective on the human journey and a deep, lifelong appreciation for multiculturalism. From a young age, I also developed a profound fascination with aviation, surrounded by diecast airplanes and complex LEGO models. During my teenage years, this evolved into a dedication to flight simulation, cementing a passion for the skies that would eventually define my career.
> THE_BUSINESS_DETOUR
For over two decades, I pursued various non-aviation fields, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit inherited from my family. I spent years building businesses, managing sales teams, and scaling operations for CPG brands. These experiences came with a mix of successes and failures, teaching me invaluable, real-world lessons in leadership, process optimization, and resilience.
> THE_RETURN_TO_FLIGHT
In 2018, I realized life was too short not to fully pursue my core passion. I had earned my Private Pilot License back in 2008, but my career had taken a long detour. In 2019, I committed to a change. I relocated, enrolled in an accelerated training program, and passed six checkrides. This allowed me to begin mentoring aspiring pilots as a flight instructor.
Over the next few years, I served in two Chief Pilot roles and founded/managed two aviation businesses, including Clipper Aviation. While these ventures allowed me to fly diverse aircraft and build incredible teams, I eventually found myself focusing more on running the business operations than on actual flying.
> CURRENT_OPERATIONS
In 2024, life presented a chance to refocus entirely on the flight deck. I stepped away from Clipper Aviation with a well-rounded portfolio of experience and joined Flexjet as a professional pilot, subsequently earning my upgrade to Part 135 Captain.
Today, my approach to aviation is driven by a quest for knowledge and excellence. I rely on meticulous attention to detail, creative problem-solving born from my business background, and a strict adherence to safety and risk management. With over 4,800 hours of incident-free flying, my focus remains clear: upholding exceptional operational standards while remaining a perpetual student of flight.
